Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-04-13

⚠️ Placeholder copy. This document is a generic starting template, not legal advice. Review with a lawyer and replace with your actual policy before launching to real users.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using QuickServe (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. The service

QuickServe is a food ordering platform that connects customers with participating restaurants. We facilitate the ordering transaction but are not ourselves a restaurant, and we do not prepare or deliver food. Each restaurant is solely responsible for food quality, ingredients, allergen information, and fulfilment of orders placed through the platform.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for every action taken through your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or put other users at risk.

4. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are entering a transaction with the restaurant, not with QuickServe. Prices, menu availability, estimated wait times, and promotions are provided by the restaurant and may change without notice.

Payments may be processed by the restaurant directly or by a third-party payment provider. QuickServe does not itself collect or retain payment card data.

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each restaurant. Contact the restaurant directly if you have an issue with an order.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Submit fraudulent orders or payment information
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the Service
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise misuse platform data
  • Impersonate another user or provide misleading information

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and content, is owned by QuickServe and its licensors. Restaurant menus, images, and descriptions are the property of the respective restaurants. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of restaurant information. QuickServe is not responsible for food quality, allergen content, delivery times, or any dispute arising between a customer and a restaurant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickServe will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which QuickServe is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
